  • 33rd Annual Telly Awards Winners Announced

    Telly again produly honors the very best videos, films and commercials


    Omaha, Nebraska (April 10, 2013) Opportunity Education (OE) received its fourth award for outstanding video production. OE produces educational videos based on US National curriculum scope and sequence for primary grades. OE educational videos are in 1,300 schools in Africa and Asia. These awards acknowledge the quality of educational videos the program produces. OE educational videos are supplied to poor schools in developing countries free of charge. OE President Jim Ricketts is the producer of these videos with Chvala and Company Productions, Inc. as the film company. Bill Chvala is the director and editor. Experience Teaching in Africa was honored with 33rd Annual Telly Award. This heartwarming story shares the experience of teaching in an OE supported schools in Uganda East Africa by American teachers. With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous, countries, this year's Telly Awards has been one of the most successful and competitive in the long history of the Telly Awards. Experience Teaching in Africa joins multi award winner OE produced video Miles Apart but Connected at the Heart as this video was a 2011 Telly Award winner along with receiving Videographer Award in international competition. Lost Children was a 2013 AVA Digital Ward. Lost Children showcases thee students who live in poverty yet strive to break out of their dire conditions through education provided by OE. AVA recognizes outstanding achievements by creative professionals involved in concept, direction, design and production.
