Andrew Kondoh / Sierra Leone
Andrew N. Kondoh started work as Opportunity Education's Target School Facilitator in Sierra Leone in January 2011 although he had assisted with the program there earlier. He is a native of Kenema in the eastern part of the country but now lives in Freetown, the capital. He is a diploma holder in Community Development Studies, Computer Hardware, Maintenance and Repairs and Networking. His previous work experience includes time with a local music company and as an IT technician for a consultancy company. He has substantial experience working for non-governmental organizations, including the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in Sierra Leone, War Child Holland, West Africa Dot Net and The International Education and Resource Centre. He is also the founder and President of a local youth organization, Advocacy for the Young in Crisis, which deals with issues such as HIV/AIDS and the education of girls.
