Dan Schultejann / Board Member
Born in Downers Grove, Ill., Dan Schultejann began at an early age pursuing the life of an entrepreneur. He started at 18 with the acquisition and successful turnaround of a struggling service industry business in central Illinois. As his business activities evolved, resulting in the establishment of more than 10 companies, he found a strong desire to migrate toward technology startups within the oil and gas market. They include ATA Inc., serving the larger scale corporate IT needs; Crystalline Technology, providing turnkey well-site automation solutions; and SCADA Source LLC, a reseller of automation technology products. Today he is the CEO and founder of Automation-X Corporation a leading oil and gas technology company based out of Fort Collins, Colo. With more than 11 locations they provide products and services to the top-tier E&P companies throughout the world.
Dan is also a committed charity activist, particularly toward children in less fortunate situations or those with disabilities. Some of his activities include serving as the President and Chairman of the Board to the Business Advisory Council, an NFPO charged with the distribution of federal funding designated for assisting the disabled in the workplace. He also served as a Board Advisor to Western Wishes, an NPO dedicated to granting wishes for children who are terminally ill or those challenged with permanent disabilities. More recently Dan works as an Executive Advisor to Wipe Every Tear, an international NPO designed to bring young girls out of the sex-trade and provide them with a stable life and education.
As a member of the Board of Advisors to the Opportunity Education Foundation, Dan believes strongly in the mission of delivering quality education to developing nations. He has stated “The gift of education not only provides the children with hope, but it also builds a foundation of goodwill that will serve us all for many years to come.”
