Create a progress monitoring graph with a goal line

Using the Score Trends chart in a student’s Fast Feedback insights enables you to compare a student’s performance to the class’s performance and a target goal.

  1. Click “Insights” from the left-side menu in Feedback Forward.

  2. Filter to an individual student. You will then see the Fast Feedback Summary chart and the Score Trends chart.

  3. In the Fast Feedback Summary chart, click the three dots at the top right to see a menu.

  4. Click “Add Goal” in the menu.

  5. You can set any goal between 1 and the total score. You will see this goal as a baseline for comparison in the Fast Feedback Summary chart and as a line in the Score Trends chart. You can also edit the total score for Fast Feedback to any score between 4 and 999. This will update the y-axis of scores in the Score Trend Chart.

  6. Click “Save.”

  7. You will see the goal as a static line in the Score Trends chart. You can compare the student’s daily average to the class’s daily average and this goal.

  8. To filter the Score Trends chart, you can select an individual criterion using the top filter, or by adjusting the date range.

  9. To remove the goal, click “Add Goal” in the menu of the Fast Feedback Summary Chart, and set the goal to zero.

You will need to set a goal each time you filter to a different student.
