High School Should be Your Launchpad
But many schools don’t focus enough on the knowledge and skills you need after school. And when your school work isn’t interesting or relevant, it’s hard to focus and learn.

Clearly Better Learning
If you feel that high school doesn’t move you forward, you are not alone: Gallup’s research with almost 1 million students shows that just 34% of high school seniors say that they’re engaged in their school work, either actively or passively.
In schools with Quest Forward Learning, teachers report 99% of their students were either fully engaged or highly engaged in their senior year (2021–22). Why? Because Quest Forward Learning was designed for high school students to drive their learning, develop skills that are valuable to them, and learn better.

“Before, I had no idea what I was going to do or where I was going to go… And then I did my internship and I learned about electrical work. I kind of fell in love with that. It’s definitely set me up pretty well.”

Focus on the Future
Opportunity Education’s Pathways Program helps students find their best path to success in their chosen career, whether it be via college, career education, the military, or on-the-job training. Each of these options has value, and you deserve the same high-end support to find and pursue the pathway that is best for you. The Pathways Program gives you this support.
In the Pathways Program, students identify their strengths and interests and then try out real work experiences, including internships, shadowing opportunities, guest speakers on a variety of topics, and more. They have dedicated opportunities to get a feel for what works for them. Students also learn about personal finance, build resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and more.
Schools that offer Quest Forward Learning often also offer a Pathways Program to their students.
