Insights on student and class trends are available based on the feedback you record with Feedback Forward. To get the most out of these insights, you will need to complete at least five sessions of feedback for the selected class and criterion.
-
Navigate to the Insights page.
-
You will see several charts that you can filter by Class, Criteria, and Students at the top. You can also filter by date. These filters apply to all charts in the insights view.
-
In “Criteria Trends,” you will see plotted lines displaying a criteria’s average for each session. You can filter to a different class, one criterion, an individual student, or a new date range using the filters at the top of the page.
-
In “Student Trends,” students will be categorized by Low, Medium, or High depending on the average feedback they received this week. You can toggle between each category, and adjust the number of sessions that the data reflects at the top of the chart. For each student, you can see the past sessions of feedback displayed as bars, their average feedback across those sessions, and their change in feedback, which compares their performance on their most recent session to the average of their past sessions. You can filter to a new class, one criterion, or to a new date range using the filters at the top of the page.
-
In “Session Trends,” you will see a bar chart comparing the total number of each feedback level that class received compared across the past 5 days. You can expand the number of days in the filter. You can filter to a different class, one criterion, or a new date range using the filters at the top of the page.
-
You can see information for an individual student by choosing a student from the filter at the top of the page.
